CAT Result 2011, exam result of CAT 2011, CAT results, CAT Exam result decalared, announced

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance exam for management programs for its seven business schools. About 250,000 students took the CAT in 2008 to around 1500 seats in IIMs. Indian Institute of Management Common Aptitude Test results will be available on 12 January, 2011.

The Qualified candidates will be invited for GD & PI rounds. CAT 2010 exam is the key to an MBA from top Business Schools in India, IIM Ahemdabad (IIMA), IIM Bangalore (IIMB), IIM Calcutta (IIMC), NITIE, SP Jain, FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, etc. This year’s CAT, which went online for the first time, was marked by several glitches and the government was forced to take a retest a few days back.

Nearly 2.41 lakh students took the test, which is a gateway not only for IIMs but close to 80 other B-schools that choose candidates based on scores on the entrance exam. Technology is supposed to add processes, not turn them down slowly said a student from Podar College, who took the test this year. It will determine where to go and what college to shoot.
