Salman Khan’s performance in Dabangg is turning out to be the best from any male actor in Bollywood last year. Just days after winning the honors at Star Screen Awards, Salman again bagged the best actor award at Apsara Awards last night.
The Best Actress award was shared by Vidya Balan and Anushka Sharma for their performances in Ishqiya and Band Baaja Baaraat respectively. The Best Film award went to Dabangg. Karan Johar bagged the Best Director award for My Name Is Khan.
It was a star studded night with performances from Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma. The who’s who of Bollywood was present at the do: Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Yash Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Akshay Kumar, Rani Mukherjee, Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Govinda, Malaika Arora, Arbaaz Khan, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Dharmendra and Ramesh Sippy, among others.
