Samsung on Monday confirmed that it has sold 10 million Galaxy S smartphones - seven months after their June 2010 debut.
The company said it has consistently sold 1.4 million of the Android-powered devices each month since they hit stores.
"The Galaxy S has set a new standard in smarphones and outperformed even our expectations," JK Shin, president and head of mobile at Samsung, said in a statement. "We will continue to meet this demand, delivering leading innovation and building smartphones that will maximize user experiences."
