Motorola Cliq 2 on Sale Starting Today | Motorola Cliq 2 Review

Motorola announced the successor to the Cliq – creatively named the Cliq 2 — at CES 2011. Teaming up with T-Mobile in the US, the phone is now available for a low price tag of $99.

What exactly is inside the new Motorola Cliq 2? Well, for that much of money you’ll get a 3.7-inch screen, 1GHz processor, Froyo,5-megapixell camera with dual LED flash, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA and a 2GB memory card thrown inside your manbag. As always, the price is tied to a 2-year contract that you must agree upon getting. Here’s more information if you need more persuasion to get the Motorola Cliq 2.

The phone has a horizontal slider keyboard, which works great if you are into writing long emails on your phone. While the keys are set a little too close to each other with some protruding bits, it actually works fine for the phone. In fact, it was intentionally designed that way, because it shortens the distance between keys and you’ll eventually be able to type even faster.

While the Motorola Cliq 2 only has 3G feature, it can still take advantage of the carrier’s 4G network for an even speedier data access.
