Bollywood's cutie-pie poster boy Imran Khan's wedding to film corporation heiress Avantika Malik will be a semi-private affair on a farm in Karjat on Saturday evening, followed by a party that will go on till the wee hours.
It is not expected to have too many high-profile people like Bollywood superstars Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. Even the media is not being allowed to capture the actual ceremony, which will be witnessed only by immediate family ( Aamir Khan, Kiran, Junaid, Ira, Reena, Mansoor Khan), personal friends of Imran and Avantika, and some industry sorts who have worked with the actor (like Karan Johar, Punit Malhotra, Danish Aslam). After the ceremony, the couple will step out for photo-ops with the media. Imran and Avantika are throwing a party at their Pali Hill residence on January 10, followed by a party for close-knit friends at a surburban five star hotel.
