CSIR-UGC NET mock test results announced

CHANDIGARH: The result of the CSIR-UGC national eligibility test (NET) mock test (sciences) conducted by Panjab University on November 28 was declared on Monday. The mock test was organized for the first time in PU to benefit NET aspirants preparing for the exam to be held on December 19.

The test for humanities was conducted on November 21. It consisted of three papers while the mock test for NET in sciences included chemical sciences, earth atmospheric ocean and planetary sciences, life sciences, mathematical and physical sciences, that comprised two papers.

Officials said the main aim of conducting the mock test was to provide a platform to the students to help them crack the NET exam.

According to the coordinator of the mock test, Prof Rajan Gaur, the test generated a lot of interest and a number of candidates took it. "It will definitely benefit the aspirants who are preparing for the CSIR-UGC NET to be held on December 19," he added.
